Dresses/wedding help?

I am just under 5 ft and cannot find any floaty maxi style dresses that are not too long. So annoying. Am a size 12 but have 36d boobs.
Also am going to a wedding but did not want to spend loads. Have a black dress that is sort of lace with white underneath from M&S quite tight fitting and was going to dress it up with pink shawl and fascinator but have a dilema with the shoes. Have lots of nice heels but the wedding itself is in a castle with grass grounds so heels a nightmare sinking into the ground. The evening do is on a boat so heels prob a nightmare mixed with booze! but being 5ft I dont want to feel short. Have some pink patent wedges but not sure. Would really love a maxi dress but they are all too long. :( Feeling very style underconfident :(

Maybe some wedges would help? They had lots of bright ones really cheap in New Look today - could look fab with your dress and still give you height.

I know this is nothing to do whith what you have asked, but have you read the bra intervention threads? If you are a 12 it is unlikely that you are a 36.

Sorry to interupt, couldn't help myself.

You can get vile little covers for your heels to stop them sinking into grass....
