Start with 30F/FF Maryann, and possibly 30E & 32E as well. I think the F's will be your friend though.

Maryann1975 · 15/07/2013 09:52

Thank you. Does it matter where I shop for bras? I tend to go to places like next. But I am willing to splash out, now I've finished having babies and feeding them. So where would you recommend for a decent bra?

(And 30 F, quite different from my 34C, but I know they are not right as I overfill them, just didn't know where to start on finding what I should be in).

MissHC · 15/07/2013 11:11

I'm 34 and 41. What does that make me?

StatisticallyChallenged · 15/07/2013 11:13

start with 34f

SorrelForbes · 15/07/2013 11:14

Maryann1975 You will struggle to find a 30 band in any high street (e.g. Next, Top Shop, BHS, New Look) shop. Department stores like JL, Debenhams or HoF are your best bet. Bravissimo is pretty much the mecca for bra shopping for anything above a D as their range is so extensive.

Good on-line resources are Brastop, Figleaves, Me and My Curves, Bravissimo and of course eBay!

MissHC · 15/07/2013 11:28

Thanks! Most recent one I bought was a 38C so that's quite a change. Will have a look in some shops later.

These are my favourite threads Smile

I don't know how statistically manages to intervene with so many women and still have a life!

To those of you wondering where the hell your going to find these crazy sized bras, if you put the measurements and the word bra into an eBay search you will find there are several sellers who sell new and will accept tried on returns if they don't fit.
If you open the packaging carefully and tape it back up you can return to sender for free Wink

I have picked up monster sizes for as little as £12 Shock

Hi so this is my first post and I've been caught up in the bra intervention, so today I've measured my self 30" &35" which I take to be a 30dd is this right??? Also I've been searching for some bras mainly looking at Freya but I'm just wanting something more basic to start my new bra collection!!! Is there anywhere I can get just a plain black and a white non padded bra without spending a fortune?? Thanks a lot

StatisticallyChallenged · 15/07/2013 20:19

Yup, start with 30DD. Take a look at brastop, mycurvesandme, the outlet section of leia, debenhams (their gorgeous range runs small in the back) and surprisingly, amazon

Nells77 · 15/07/2013 20:48

Thanks I've ordered a couple of basics from debenhams to see if they fit then will treat myself to some fancy ones!!

Allthequeenshorses · 18/07/2013 18:58

Hello, could someone help me please? 32 and 42? That's with the second measurement with bra on? Is that correct. I'm so confused! Thank you so much!

StatisticallyChallenged · 18/07/2013 19:04

Whip bra off and take the second measurement bending forward (as close to 90 degrees as you can get)

DisappointedHorse · 18/07/2013 19:17

Oh please can you do mine?

31 and 41.

StatisticallyChallenged · 18/07/2013 19:23

Try a 30H, 30GG, 32GG and 32G

DisappointedHorse · 18/07/2013 19:29

Shock Bloody Nora. No way?

Thanks, I'll try!

Allthequeenshorses · 18/07/2013 19:51

Ok, probably nearer 33 and then 43. Thanks

StatisticallyChallenged · 18/07/2013 19:55

I'd say start with a 32GG and 32H allthequeenshorses

Allthequeenshorses · 18/07/2013 19:58

Oh my god. But I really don't think a 32 will fit! I'm mortified to say I've been wearing a 36ee, measured in store. I shall try tomorrow and let you know! That's amazing. I knew I wasn't comfortable or right, but not that bad!

StatisticallyChallenged · 18/07/2013 20:00

Take your 36, and put it on back to front (there is a reason). Now, see how far away from your body you can pull the band...

Allthequeenshorses · 18/07/2013 20:03

Got you!!!!!!!! I can't thank you enough. Shopping first thing tomorrow me thinks. Thanks
