Ive got a footie do of my sons to go to, so nothing to posh! Im thinking of wearing some skinny white trousers, would a peach and white lace top go, or should I go for something brighter? Thinking of beige wedges for feet,

Jeans and top sounds lovely. Not sure about wedges though. Even if you don't have to stand on a grassy pitch it can usually be quite dirty so I would wear a pair of flats or some smart/neat trainers or Converse? Something a bit more practical but doesn't have to be grubby trainers? I go to these all the time and the Mum's that make too much of an effort do tend to stick out a bit! I'm sure you'll be fine!

Oops - misunderstood! Never been to one of them! Pretty sure you shouldn't take my advice regarding footwear for this though!Grin

Beige wedges sound great. I love how patterns containing deep red or maroon work against white jeans, but must admit to preferring contrasts, so probably wouldn't wear white on top. But if there is enough contrast for you with the peach tones, it could look lovely. Would have to see it!

Like the idea of something silky too, like a black cami.

Its mostly peach, with a little white lace at top. Tempted to have a look round tomorrow for something brighter!!
