Can someone help me with Colour B4

Need some advice on Colour B4, my hair is returning back to it's original colour after a few days.

Really like my brown hair but fed up with grey roots, they are just too obvious now so thought I'd try to go lighter so they didn't show up as much.

Tried Colour B4 last year, freaked out at the colour and promptly dyed it back again.

Did it again last Thurs liked the colour, but didn't rinse it for long enough. Result is that it returned to brown over the next 3 days, so I did it again on Sunday. Followed the instructions really carefully, covered it in cling film (much to ds amusement) and used a timer for rinsing. It came out really light, but it's going dark again.

Any ideas?

I've had the same problem with Colour B4 and also found since using it hair dye fades a lot quicker even months on.

awful stuff

I used Colour B4 to get rid of years worth of very dark dye in my hair. At first it went a really light, bright ginger and I was very close to doing what you did and dying it back!

Instead I used a temporary ash blonde which toned it right down. Over the next few days though it did get darker until it was pretty much my natural medium brown which I'm happy with.

It's not a miracle cure IME but it did do what I wanted it to and get rid of the flat, almost black colour. Unfortunately trying to cover the grey has left me creeping back to very dark.

Its a shock isn't it! as you rinse your hair for the first time and it looks bright orange, lots of Shock then lots of looking in the mirror wondering if you look totally ridiculous

Ash blonde you say, I'm near a boots tomorrow, did you go for a 6 wash?

Breakout did you go back to perm colour?

I'm going to try to embrace the grey, for now anyway!

Yes go for a 6 wash. I used Nice and Easy
Dark ash blonde.

I really wish I could bring myself to embrace the grey, I'd save a fortune.

Ditto DisappointedHorse.

I used it after a dye disaster - it made my hair lighter and on the orangey side rather than the medium-dark brown it normally is.

The 6 wash Dark Ash Blonde totally toned down the orangey-ness and made it less flat.

I'm now going with the 24 wash dyes rather than the semi-permanents.
