After umming and aching I finally bought this dress. It arrived today and I was quite shocked to find that the lining, skirt and blue fabric detail are all polyester. The only part that it cotton is the white fabric.
The garment details list as 100% cotton, do you think that's misleading? I really do love the dress but I find that I sweat a lot in polyester and I'm also not sure it's worth £75, even though that's a good sale price.
Should I keep it? Will the cotton too part not be too 'sweaty', though lined with polyester. oh why can't this be simple......Thoughts please :)

It actually says 'this is ladylike chic at its best. made from pure cotton' in the description! I think even at £75 it is pushing it, certainly at the original £250! Depends if you love it.
Certainly let HoF know their descriptions are wrong.

Actually bought from Jaeger but they are sold out so couldn't link to it there. It's the same description though.
Think I may contact their customer services and see what they say. Thank you :)

I would imagine they know exactly what the dress is made of and put 100% cotton as they think people won't part with £250 for a mostly polyester dress. Definitely contact them and see what they say (cheeky buggers!).
