SPF and make up

With the sun (finally!!!!) coming out big time I kind of worry with the effects and try to use a moisturiser with at least SPF 25! Problem is, I'm sure I should reapply throughout the day but what about makeup??
Not that I wear loads of stuff but I always have face powder on (so I look more human!) and it seems absolutely wrong to use more SPF on top of the face powder....
How do you all do it? Or you just don't?

I use an actual sunscreen rather than SPF in moisturiser which like you say would need reapplying.
I use ultrasun spf30 or spf50 every day which is designed to be applied once.

I use a sunscreen designed for the face underneath my make-up.

You can get powder SPF products. Peter Thomas Roth makes a couple, but most of the normal brands in department stores should have some too.
