Nails Inc -v- Cheaper Varnish

I love the colour "Victoria & Albert" from the Nails Inc range.

I went to put the varnish on my toenails today and it has gone horribly thick, although I have had it for quite a few years.

Can anyone recommend a cheaper make but of a very similar colour?

My toenails need colour. Grin

Rimmel's Double Decker Red?

I also use Barry M.

babysbreath · 05/07/2013 20:20

I'll have a look at double decker red tomorrow.

I like Barry M so will have a look at the colours there.

Don't know if they do the right colour, but I love Revlon polishes - dry really quickly and last well. The coral is lovely.

I gave up on nails inc, awful polish.
Rimmel seems to be the way to go alright

GobblersKnob · 06/07/2013 11:17

Nails Inc is pretty shite imo. Opi, China Glaze and my favourite is Essie.

Do not buy full price, scary, look an amazon or here or here.

Thanks for all suggestions, didn't get a chance to go to the shops, the sunshine made me sit in the garden. Smile

Can really recommend the Avon nail wear pro or plus (something like that - can't remember exact name!)

Clargo55 · 06/07/2013 20:20

Rimmel's new salon pro is amazing. It lasted 10+ days and was lovely to apply. I usually stick to OPI now converted.

Boots 17 does a Knockout Red, it's my 2nd favourite red after Nails Inc Tate, and it's only £2.99!

threepiecesuite · 07/07/2013 10:31

I'm after a cheaper version of Nails Inc Porchester Square if anyone knows of any.

Tuppence2 · 07/07/2013 19:30

threepiecesuite I get my Nails Inc varnishes of Ebay.
I got the bright pink Shoreditch last week for £1.24 plus £2.80 p+p, so could be worth a look on there?

Tuppence2 · 07/07/2013 19:33

Just had a quick look actually, and there's this one I know it still has 7 days to go, but I think you could still get a decent bargain?

AmbrosiaCreamedMice · 07/07/2013 19:37

Agree with Rimmel Salon Pro, it's REALLY hard wearing.

threepiecesuite · 07/07/2013 19:41

Thanks, I've put in on my Watch list, didn't think to look on ebay, I really love this colour, goes with everything!

TheMagicToyshop · 07/07/2013 19:47

On a slight tangent - if you have an old polish that's gone gloopy just add a tiny dash of nail polish remover and shake it up - should be good as new.

Icantstopeatinglol · 07/07/2013 19:53

I think I've got a nails inc varnish but I love Barry M, I use it all the time and have to stop myself from buying more! Wink

Allthingspretty · 07/07/2013 20:14

Barry M is on three for two at Superdrug too!

Icantstopeatinglol · 07/07/2013 21:07

Ah allthingspretty! Hope I don't go past a superdrug tomorrow or I'll have to use the 'what this? I've had it for years' phrase! Grin
