Are cropped jeans really a no no?

I've recently lost a lot of weight and I have got down to a size 10 from a 16. I've had to change all my wardrobe so I don't yet have lots to wear.

I was watching Gok on 4seven last night an he said that cropped jeans were never good. The only pair of jeans I have that fit well are cropped. I'm wearing them today with a white shirt, statement necklace, and sunglasses. I thought it was a classic look. Am I wrong?

I like cropped jeans on other people but not on me. I'm quite tall with long legs but they do nothing for me. Doesn't stop me trying them on every year though!

If we all listened to gok then we'd all be prancing around the park in dresses with waist belts, high heels and gloves as well as being stuffed within an inch of our life into spanx.

I love cropped jeans/trousers but the trick is getting the right length for you. For me it's just above the ankle.

Fitted cropped heans are a very good, classic look IMO.

The shops seem to full of cropped jeans and trousers so they must be in fashion.

If you want to look like a Loose Women presenter crossed with a 1980s Brothel Madam then you should definitely listen to Gok.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with very slightly cropped jeans - they're just 7/8ths length and they look great - not at all like someone who has no dress sense is wearing their trousers too short..

A very skinny friend of mine was in sainsburys and decided to try on a Gok dress.

She got stuck in it, couldn't move. Was on her own and the only shop assistant around was a man.

After 20 mins of wriggling and struggling she was free!!
When she left the cubicle the man asked if she was ok as she was very red in the face and hair all over the place. She explained how she had been stuck in the dress. He told her it happened before

I haven't yet found a pair of jeans that fit my new figure, the cropped ones were a freak buy in a local shop - v.cheap at 15? and fit me perfectly.

Being a but skint and determined to lose weight (and therefore reluctant to buy new clothes until I have), I fold over the bottoms of my skinny jeans. Even as I type that I'm thinking of the fashion faux pas it probably causes, but actually they look the same as if I'd bought them like that (and when I'm still this size come autumn they'll become skinny jeans once again!)

They are my mum's and mil's staples, worn with Fitflops, so they're a big no for me.
