How do I use Pinterest and polyvore for inspiration?

Do I just search for "nice work outfits"?

How do I get UK stuff rather than US stuff? Or does it not matter providing I can then find similar in UK shops??

Desperately need inspiration, am a right ugly in-confident frump at the mo.

You have to be prepared to waste hours of your life Grin.

No idea how polyvore works as I've never fathomed it out.

With Pinterest I started out looking at the womens fashion page and basically pinning any look I like to my boards. For example here's one of my boards. From there I was able to look at the things I'd pinned and get more idea of the styles I liked and how other people put things together in ways that you may not have thought of. This has been especially useful for colours. So if you have a green cardigan and no idea how to style it, if you search for it then loads of different pins come up.

When you like a pin you can see who pinned it and if you like the rest of their stuff then start following them. There's lots of us from the vogue thread on Pinterest so get following.

Hope that all makes sense!
