Glue on, leave them til the glue goes tacky then I use tweezers to get them really near my lash line and prod and push gently til they are in the right place. Sometimes a lot of swearing, stomping my feet and taking them off and starting again but also sometimes getting it just perfect first time!

Apparently there is a tool which a beauty company makes to help apply them, helpfully I can't remember who but I have seen them in the make up brush, false eyelash section in boots.

Pull the eyelash out of the packet with tweezers, roughly hold it against your eye to measure and trim off lashes from the inside (shortest) to achieve the right length for your eye. Add more glue than you think you need while still holding the lash in the tweezers, the glue will dry clear so don't worry. Waft the tweezers round in the air for a couple of seconds so the glue goes tacky and then start with the inside corner of your eye, pushing the ash to the very base of your lid working outwards. The lash should feel very "stuck" and don't forget to take the tweezers and glue out with you for emergency fixes!

Hope that makes sense!

Was it m.boots.com/mt/www.boots.com/en/Bourjois-2-in-1-Tweezer-and-False-Lash-Applicator_1277693/this Bourjois tool? I have one, its good, but I still prefer tweezers (though the tool is excellent for holding the lashes while you glue and waft Grin)

You need to get a 13 year old to put them on for you...it's the small fingers that does it.

I've only ever managed to wear false eyelashes when my DD puts them on for me. Blush

CointreauVersial · 04/07/2013 22:44

Do you put your eye makeup on before or after?

Have only just checked TIO Vibbe...will have a look at those tutorials while dd2 has lunch after nursery Smile

Trim from the outside first once measured. Shu Uemura have a great applicator, but tweezers will help rather than fingers.
Do shadow, liner, curl lashes,a little mascara then false lashes.
