i have a gorgeous bright yellow big bag thingy for all the dd's stuff

and a small pink thing from tesco when dont have the girls with me therefore have about 2 tons less stuff to carry around

would like a white one but they all seem tacky (or a million pounds)

Have been out today showing off my new summer handbag, sad but true - I couldn't wait. It was joyful emptying the winter one and transferring the few items that I really need into the summer one. I bought it from ASOS in the sale for only £6! its white and lovely. Don't want to spend a fortune as they get ruined and so I can chuck at the end of each season and get a new one - yipee.

I brought the fab yellow bag from Topshop yesterday, along with some red shoes from New Look (bargain only £25 and virtually the same as £45 ones in faith). Now just need the orange bag and i'll look like i'm right into summer.

Obviously I wont wear them all at the same time a la Chantelle :)

I do have one (black leather, v dull) which I use when pretending to be a grownup, eg at interviews. The whole concept of summer and winter handbags has me reeling

god just read the whole thread. can't believe you all use the same handbag all year round, DULL. For summer I have a bright orange midsized one for most days, a canvas orla keirly large shoulder bag which I use as a nappy bag, and a big plastic bucket bag for beach trips and outings when I need to take masses of crap with me, some of which may leak.
In winter I have bags mostly in shades of brown or black, depending on what I'm wearing (CAN'T wear a black bag if dressed in brown - just impossible. Like wearing knickers that don't match the bra - makes me feel uncomfortable!)

You may all laugh and point fingers now
