I changed to summer type handbag a few weeks ago (just smaller and lighter really). Then got rained on (about 10 times) so strap has gone and I'm back to giant, winter, black one. Does look a bit silly but now I have no need for a pushchair, I find my handbag is fuller than ever.

M&S has got some good bags at the mo

BadHair · 03/06/2006 17:07

No I haven't. I have one bag and it comes with me all year round.
I can not be bothered uprooting the crap that lives in it and stuffing it all into a pastel coloured one just because it's summer.

cece · 03/06/2006 17:08

of course Smile

blueteddy · 03/06/2006 17:09

I don't have a summer handbag! I use the same old bags all year round!

littlelamb · 03/06/2006 18:15

ooo yes I love summer bags! Right now I have a lovely one from Accessorize, cant do links but its on the website, its called macrame and button shoulder bag, and a lovely chocolate brown wicker one that I got in a charity shop for a pound. As soon as the sun comes out I get excited at the prospect of a lovely summer bag :)

OK Cod - as someone who usually bungs a backpack on (complete with first aid kit), I have ordered the orange fancy thing as a treat to myself, and because orange is ds3s favourite colour, and because I don't have a clue about things like this ... and because, well, dh is off to Germany for the footie and leaving me to it so why shouldn't I buy something pretty for myself? Will it go with my walking boots though ... or do I need new shoes now? And if anyone spots me will I scream mumsnetter to them? Like some kind of secret sign Grin
