Should I throw away clothes that don't fit???

I have been holding onto clothes for ages that are too small or they fit bit don't look good or are not flattering.

I've kept them as I'm always planning on loosing weight and think oh that will look lovely when I've lost the weight. I always
Try different things to loose
Weight with no luck. I guess I feel like if I chuck them out that's like saying I'm giving up on loosing weight.

Anyway, Should I keep them and let them steal valuable space in my tiny house? Or get rid of them?

But if I do ever loose this weight I will be gutted about all my lovely clothes that would now look lovely ConfusedConfusedConfused

How much clothes do others have??

I have the opposite problem. Having lost about a stone this year and gone down a dress size (not intentionally, just extra exercise) I have lots of 'too big' things.
If I had deliberately slimmed down and was committed to keeping new shape, it would be easy but as I haven't, I'm not convinced it will stay off.

So, should I chuck the stuff or not?

I think you should do what others have said:

Keep only expensive items that will not date.

I've kept jeans and dresses but only things that I did actually wear.

I had lots of silly cheap tops which are easily replaceable, so I chucked them all.

It's lovely having extra space in my wardrobe which means I can now actually see most of my clothes Wink

Whoknowswhocares - I had the same problem and I chucked it all. Some of the nice bits I gave to my sister (so I could steal it back) but I think having larger sizes at home would be detrimental. It would be too easy to just wear the big clothes should your small clothes get snug.
