Dark blue eye liner? Do-able?

After recommendations on here about the Smashbox eye liner pencils I bought one in smoke. It actually stays put and looks lovely. I was also tempted by the dark blue one (Indigo Ink) but although I'm young looking for my age, I am in my early 50's. Is blue a step too far? I have dark brown hair, hazel eyes and pale skin (slightly yellow undertones). Aye or Nay? And if Nay - any other colours that could work? I'm just so excited about finding an eye liner that doesn't go panda-y on me! Thanks whoever recommended them.

Yes yes. I have highlighted hair, hazel eyes and pale skin (40's).

Put it on close to your upper lash and it makes the whites of your eyes really white - I don't put it on the bottom, too 80's for me.

I also use navy mascara and again it makes my whites zing.

Avon glimmer sticks are amazing - they do a navy shot through with silver and a grey shot through with silver. Totes fab.

I wear navy or plummy-purple and I'm similar colouring to LFC. I like it better than black. Until I had my "colours" done I always wore brown or khaki green.

Yes, try it. I have several shades of blue in various eyeliner forms, and they all look lovely. Makes a nice change from black and brown.

cafe I've got similar colour to you - brown hair, brown/hazel eyes and fair freckled skin.

I love navy, plum, silver, grey, green, bronze, brown, teal - really anything except black unless it's a silver black (M&S liquid but it fades quickly)

Navy mascara - love it.
I'm looking for a plum mascara (I know there's Benefit BadGal but its pricey)
