For a fair few summers now I've been hankering after one of these things, thinking it would transform me into a tanned sophisticate. Got one today - it is truly horrible :(

The material is awful and I look worse than usual.

Does anyone know of an alternative?

It is a few inches above the knee. Don't worry about your knees - nobody will be looking!
