Eeek Scousebrow

Help - I went to have my eyebrows tinted and shaped in Superdrug and (despite me repeatedly telling her I just wanted them very light) they are are almost black. I look like I've got a Scousebrow.

I wouldn't panic too much but we are away with friends at a swanky hotel tmr.

DH keeps calling me Dr Spock.

Any tips welcomed.

I've been told that rubbing them in ash from a cigarette can help - I've not tried this though.

Makeup remover, lemon juice or toner might also help fade them a bit.

Milk? Heard that was good for hair dye

I've seen head and shoulders recommended when people want to get rid of hair dye. It might help.

Jjcrackers · 28/06/2013 20:28

Thank you - I have all of those except the ash. Will try

Try Head n Shoulders - it works on hair colour.

Never heard the term scousebrow before but I am still traumatised from getting my brows done in Meanwood, Leeds. Should have known better but was driving past and just did it. Two black commas stopping at the top of the arch and I said I wanted them natural looking, just tidied up and not too dark. I looked an absolute idiot.

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/06/2013 20:38

How about mixing up some colour b 4 and stripping it out that way? It's about £10 in boots.

CointreauVersial · 28/06/2013 22:07

You probably don't look as bad as you think you do. Its just not the brows you are used to seeing in the mirror.

Tell your DH to feck off with his Spock insults.
