Help - my skin!!!

In the last few days I have developed a huge lump under my skin - just to the side of my chin. It's not a spot (has no head or anything), but it's about 1cm wide by 1.5cm long and it really hurts.
I can feel another one coming up on the side of my nose now - what is happening?
I get spots every now and then - but these are giant lumps!

Have you been in the sun a lot recently?

overthinking · 27/06/2013 21:29

No, not at all (don't think we've had any sun tbh!)

Where in your cycle are you? Could be hormone related?

overthinking · 27/06/2013 21:32

I've just come on yesterday, so could be, although it's never happened before. I'm flummoxed Confused

Have you started using any new beauty products? Dehydrated? Massive sugar binge?

overthinking · 27/06/2013 21:50

Not that I can think of - the only thing that has been different is that I had a tummy upset last week??? But I drink about 1.5-2 litres of water a day (DH had kidney stones so we both started drinking lots more water :) )

Cystic acne. Hormonal and the work of the devil

FoxyHarlow123 · 27/06/2013 22:07

Actually, if its just a couple of the buggers, acne might be over egging it but defo cystic spots.

Yup - cystic acne. The only thing that sorts my skin out when I have an attack is a course of Erythromycin antibiotics.
