New perfume wanted

I'd like to get a new perfume, and I'd like it to smell like roses, or at least remind me of roses.

I used dentinox cradle cap shampoo which contains some sort of rose (according to the back of the bottle) on my baby daughter and the smell of it reminds me of post bath snuggles!

I've never really bought myself any perfume so am completely overwhelmed when I wander into a store for a look.

Paul Smith Rose is good if you're looking for something mid priced. Exactly what it says on the bottle, lots of fresh rose. I'm sure some others will be along soon with more ideas though

Oh, the other requirement is that, as I'm based in the deepest darkest south west, it needs to be available in Debenhams, Boots, HoF or Exeter's teeny John Lewis

That Paul Smith one is available in most places, certainly boots and debenhams. Worth a sniff at least.

Loccitane Rose 4 Reines is lovely. It should be in Debenhams and John Lewis

I love the Paul Smith Rose but, I don't buy anymore from Boots or in store. I buy from Extrascents online. You can buy 100ml for around £17.99 as a "tester" bottle. Mine arrived in full packaging, unused and the real deal. I was delighted and its really, really lovely.
