I'm going to buy some Sam Edelman Gigi sandals! I'm pregnant and sartorially fed up so hoping these will keep me going until the baby is big enough for me to fit back into my clothes again!

What colour would be prettiest/most versatile? All gold, all black, OR very pretty gold toe post with leopard skin ankle strap and coral bits? Gold would be nice and glamorous in contrast to my Birkenstocks but I'm a bit worried they look like cheap accessorize ones? (Not seen them in the flesh)

Would wear mostly with skinny jeans and dresses. Thanks!!

I've got Rose gold which I wear a lot. I like the sound of gold and leopard - nice bit of glam for when you feel like a barrage balloon!

Thanks amber I've seen your rose ones on you blog (you kind of inspired me to get some!) and they do look lovely. I was worried black is a bit dull and gold would be more glam. Did you go up a size in them?

these are the gold and leopard I wasn't sure whether they were "grown up" enough what with entering motherhood!

Hmm, I wear an 8.5 in most US shoes so got that in the Gigis, but my toes are nearly at the end so I would go up half a size. I love those leopard ones - perfectly appropriate for a stylish new mum!

I have the rose gold the bright pink and recently wanted the white snake effect ones.
I think they're narrow fitting and when I think of how my feet grew at the end of my pregnancies not sure about the width.
I wear mine alot and they are v comfy and to me worth it compared to the £6 version in primark.

ChablisLover · 24/06/2013 10:37

yip - I second amber go up a size

I am size 6 and ordered a US9 and they fit (and just about too!)

remember too about feet swell in pregnancy - I went up to a 7 towards the end.

but they are lovely

Brand alley have a sale on ending today £35 plus delivery

GypsyFloss · 24/06/2013 10:59

I've got the silver ones which are lovely albeit a bit shiny. They are very narrow though, particularly if you compare them to birkies so you might want to order a couple of different sizes to try.

Love the gold and leopard ones you linked.

Thanks everyone! I've taken the plunge and ordered the all over gold ones from amazon. Already worrying I should have ordered the other colour now! But I have a lot of wackier shoes and colourful havaianas so these can be my calmer ones..

I'm a very narrow footed 6 so often a 5.5 is closed toes. My havaianas are a 5 and Birkenstocks I think are a 4 or 5. I've gone for an 8.5 US so fingers crossed!

I saw the brandalley sale the prices are fantastic but annoyingly only 6 left and think I'd need bigger. I'm really hoping I don't get too much swell from the pregnancy but I guess it will be the height of summer, and I live in Spain! chablis did your feet go back down?! My mum went to a 7 and has never gone back to hr previous 6 (multiple pregnancies though!) NOT a good thought for a shoe lover.

fortunately - they did go back down

Think it was water retention (thank goodness) shoe lover also and expensive ones at that so would have broken my heart if they no longer fitted

I know how you felt :-( I had a Saturday job at Russell and Bromley when I was younger and I was under 16, for 'tax purposes' they paid me in shoes!!! I have sooo many gorgeous shoes. And dresses. Oh god, will I ever fit my dress again!!

(I'm finding pregnancy hard to deal with!!!)
