Best salon facials

I'm thinking of treating myself to a facial/treatment at a beauty salon. I was wondering what are the best ones to have either as a one off or a course? I'm 40 with dry skin and a few faintish lines around the eyes.

Ooooh, good idea! I like to treat myself at the end of the summer term as it's such a busy time. Last year it was a pampering manicure, but a facial sounds good. Anyone with suggestions, we will be waiting your wisdom with bated breath!
I'm combination skin, if that makes any difference. TIA

I think it depends what you like. I really like clarins skin spa. I despise any salon where the therapist says thats your mask on. Just relax for 20 minutes and i will be back. Bloody lazy if you ask me. i have hands, feet and head that could be rubbed in those 20 mins!

Clarins tri-active facial is fabulous imo. It includes a foot, head, hand and back massage and leaves my skin looking much brighter. I would definitely recommend it.

Guinot, totally brilliant, but, as the others have said, you need a good therapist.

I was going to say Guinot too.

Yy to guinot. Love the hydradermie facials. Fab results.
Clarins Tri active are nice but I don't think get the same results. More pampering.

I love all facials. Elemis visible brilliance is amazing and I am a huge fan of Clarins although more for the smell of the products and relaxation than the results.

Dermalogica is probably the best I have had for instant youth!
