High waisted jeans advice please?

I've given up pretending I'm going to loose weight imminently (I'll hopefully feel more motivated when DS starts sleeping better) so I need new jeans.

I live in my jeans. I'm a size 16 SHORT (I'm only 5'4"), I have a serious mummy tummy which I never used to have - I've been heavier in the past but I guess that's what giving birth does to you (DS is 9 months), so I think a high waist would help to hold it in as it tends to flop over the band of low-risers :( Also I spend a lot of time sitting on the floor with DS and my current jeans of whatever size/fit tend to slide down my bottom after a while...

Any suggestions? I don't know for a budget, I wouldn't usually spend more than £20 on jeans but am prepared to pay a bit more this time if they are good...

thatsmystyle.co.uk do a wide range of jeans with high waists...I wear their bootlegs, and love them! They also come in a variety of leg lengths too.

PrincessOfChina, I got the 'high rise skinny' style from Gap and I found them shit. They were fine when I tried them in the shop but they become really baggy on the bottom after a couple of hours' wear.

It is possible I bought too big a size but I did not think so.

Go for the top shop ones, the "Jamie" range they feel soft, hold everything in and dont go baggy, a bit steep at 40 quid, but I wouldnt part with mine!
