I'm having urges to get some but not sure if I'll look a) a twat b) like a sulky teenager or c) trying to be young when I'm nearly 30.

My face can easily carry it off (I've been practising with eye pencil) and I'm not thinking for the school run or anything but I'm just not sure, although I have a feeling you will all say no!

Definitely no! Just no.

Karbea · 21/06/2013 20:45

I have a very dark red, Tom ford black orchid, I think that type of thing is more stylish than black which I personally think is a bit teenage goth!

buttercrumble · 21/06/2013 20:46

Oooh no dont do it, sorry it sounds horrendous

CalamityGin · 21/06/2013 20:57

goth/punk

haute couture/ID front cover model

that's all!

JazzDalek · 21/06/2013 21:27

I have never seen it look good on anyone.

CecyHall · 21/06/2013 21:34

Perhaps I better file it away in my stupid urges box along with the constant wondering if I should cut a fringe/dye my hair pink/stretch my ear piercings Smile

yes to fringe! if you have to to pink! Nooooooooooooooooooo to stretched piercings ... the very nature of fashion is that it constantly changes as do you and your tastes (you may have loved those neon pink legwarmers 5/10/15/20 years ago but now??!!) my point is fringes and colours grow out, stretched earlobes do not spring back

CalamityGin · 21/06/2013 21:39

I am changing my mind (see! that's fashion for you) go with the black lipstick if it will quell your desire to s-t-r-e-t-c-h your lobes

CalamityGin · 21/06/2013 21:40

p.s you are still young!

CecyHall · 21/06/2013 21:47

Lol thanks calamity and don't worry, I won't stretch my ears but it's a fleeting thought about once a month of what if...!

OP posts:
Karbea · 21/06/2013 22:15

Good grief why on earth would you want to stretch your earlobes?

CalamityGin · 21/06/2013 22:17

quite Karbea at that age I was more concerned with stretching my labia not my lobes Grin

CalamityGin · 21/06/2013 22:17

sorry

CalamityGin · 21/06/2013 22:18

one too many sherrys
