Fine knit out on Weekend night?

Is it acceptable to wear a fine knit jumper out on a weekend evening? Paired with skinnies and heels?

I have nothing to wear - its got sparkly thread running through it but is a plain, natural colour. MN jury, what do we think? Thanks
