Hello.. I am 28 years old and for over the last year have been noticing a dark patch above my lip... Melasma.
I have never had children and am not on any form of contraceptive... What can I do to prevent it going darker. I am aware there is no cure which is heartbreaking and it is making me really emotional.

Any help would be greatly appreciated x

What about one of the teams that are aimed at fading age spots, might they help?

I've done so much research and basically it's trial and error. Most people have said it worsens. I'm booked in with Harley medical group soon and hope they can help. I can see loads of other people on other forums saying they have it.. But to this day I'm waiting to meet someone with the same problem. My confidence has taken a huge knock :(
