where should my wires be?

After a bra intervenention on here I am wearing a 30g, the back is still to big though so I wil be going to a 28. I just want to check I am wearing the cups right though. They are comfy and no gaping. The centeral gore sits flat between my boobs but the outside of the wires is round my sides. If I put my arms up the wire sits in the middle of my side. So if u drew a straight line from the centre of my ARM pit to my hip it would be on the line. Is this too far back? Do I need a smaller cup? If I try a 32 f I get 4 boob and the back is massive.

I did however get a 30ff top from bravissimo with the bra inside and the bra bit is massive and gaped at the top. So confused!

Doesn't sound too far back to me. The wires in my 30Hs go a long way round.

Sizes tend to be different in different ranges and even different colours. Lots of trial and error in buying bras, but also lots of useful info on the fit of various brands on the bra threads. Look out for marriednotdead's posts, she knows All The Bras.

Doesn't sound too far back to me either. It depends on your shape - my boobs go quite far round, so my wires do too.

Re the Bravissimo tops - I have had these previously and found they ran big in the cup.

Thanks, I knew you would have the answers! After wearing the wrong size bra for years I am still getting used to how a properly fitting bra looks.
