Recommendations for tinted moisturiser

I've been using clarins forever, tried the Mac one and I didn't rate it. Recently tried Benefit and didn't give enough coverage.

Which one does anyone else rate- I am looking for some coverage but not as much as foundation, a bit of colour but not orange.

I've been using the Estee Lauder BB cream (it's basically a tinted moisturiser with SPF35). Not a lot of coverage, but evens out the skin tone.

How about a foundation with light coverage instead of a tinted moisturiser?

Definitely try this

I bought it after it was recommended to me by MNers - I couldn't believe it would be that great because it's so cheap, but it's fantastic stuff Smile

I think the Laura Mercier one is fantastic. £32 though, so maybe have a go at the nivea one first!

Another vote for Laura Mercier- SPF 20 whereas Nivea one is only SPF8 which is hardly any protection.

Garnier BB cream is lovely. Also No.7 do a good one.

Clinique cc cream. See the reviews on the sticky up top of the S&B page.

I love the no7 one which is spf15, but it is light (lighter than nivea one)- such a lovely glow though-I feel great in it.

Boots Time delay BB cream is a miracle I use the tiniest bit on really moisturised skin and it has transformed it!

Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisture Balm in a little glass jar is fabulous stuff - but for a dewy, glowing finish, so I'd say best for dryer skins

Laura Mercier again here. So nice

lotsofthingstolearn · 18/06/2013 17:32

Thanks everyone - other have said the Laura Mercier one also- so maybe it's that I will ask for a tester before shelling out. In fact ill go to a Beauty hall in John Lewis or something and ask for testers and en route stop a boots for Nivea etc

I'd consider the foundation with light coverage- because I just hate feeling like I am wearing make up but for special events need to slap on the YSL to cover up the tiredness from a 5 month old baby

I love the Laura Mercier but have just been trying a week's sample of the Clinique CC cream and the coverage is better (and I think the SPF is higher). Will definitely switch when my Laura M runs out.

Agree with LaRegina. Nivea tinted mositurise by far the best. I have tried loads including the No7 which was over perfumed, thin and provided no coverage.
