Nail polish and top coats

Come and talk to me Grin
I have too many nail polishes but nothing lasts on my hands. My toes never chip, but my fingers seem to take ages to dry and chip so quick. Polishes I mainly use are Jessica, OPI, Nails Inc and Barielle. Top coats I've tried are OPI rapid dry and Seche Vite. Any tips? Is the "sandwich" method any good?
If you are a nail polish lover check out Barielle, so pretty (and seem to last the longest on me)

What nail polish top coat do you use? This is really useful. I just use cheapy Barry M but it works!

I recommend Sally Hansen Insta dry. Red bottle with a white lid . Lovely glossy finish .

MN has recommended to me the Sally Hansen one in the orangey bottle (probably the same one Trumpton is saying) - I prefer it to Seche Vite.

the boots no 7 one is ok for the price. also I've read about wiping the top of each nail along a sheet of paper after painting. keep meaning to try it.

I swear by Nails Inc base coat and top coat. Their polish is good too. If I take my time to do it properly (letting each coat dry) and apply base, two coats of polish and a top coat, it will last me at least a week and still look good.

I've been using Essie Rock Solid as a base and top coat for a while. I usually use Dior, Chanel, Guerlain, OPI, Tom Ford, Essence and Catrice nail polishes. I've used OPI rapid dry and other top coats before, and I feel like they're all more or less the same.

The only thing that makes my nail polish last longer is wrapping it around the tip, using this method: www.alllacqueredup.com/2010/06/manicure-trick-wrap-tips.html#.UcAxapxmP84

Try No 7 top coat - best one ever imo!
