I have a jar of this for night. it is a balm rather than a cream. does anyone else use this and do you just use it alone.

My DH says it smells like furniture polish.

I got it a couple of years ago. I also thought the smell was horrible. I used it on and off at night before going to bed, a bit like a night cream.

Once I finished the pot, I never replaced it. The smell and texture had put me off.

I use it, it's excellent stuff.
You only use it at night and can either use it every night for a week each month or 2 nights a week but not every night.
I generally use it if I'm having a breakout or on a night where I have exfoliated.
It's great on individual spots too.

Didn't you mind the smell, Jemima?

I must confess that I also did not find it made a noticeable difference to my skin.

JemimaPuddle · 15/06/2013 22:38

I love the smell but then Neroli is one if my favourite smells!

It's definitely a 'treatment' rather than just a night cream so when I use it my skin is softer, nor even & blemishes are gone/ massively reduced.
Maybe you just didn't need it? I'm not sure if I used it when my skin was behaving I'd see much difference.

*more even ffs!

Rattitude · 15/06/2013 23:26

You may be right, Jemima, although my skin is far from perfect.

Funnily enough, I love the Aromessence neroli oil (inc. its smell) but could not reconcile the oil smell with the night balm's.

Ha well... Glad it works for some people as this may reassure the OP about her purchase!
