Issa dress- would I be mental?

Issa have started their sale. I love their wrap dresses and I'm toying with getting one now they're reduced down to the slightly more affordable price of £255.

Does anyone have one? I was going to ask, "are they worth that kind of money", but what I really mean is will it make me fabulous?

I've got one - I paid £10 for it at my local car boot sale (I know, seriously lucky find)

It is very lovely, and I enjoy wearing it. If you want to see what a real person (not the super tall, super beautiful Duchess) looks like in one here I am wearing mine.

Have you tried one on? Does it make you feel fabulous? They are gorgeous. Chances are if you feel fabulous you probably look it Grin. Providing its not going to bankrupt you then I would go for it, they are a classic style that you will probably wear and feel fab in for years (and there is always eBay if you get tired of it Grin).

Have you checked out the Outnet btw? They have some Issa dresses at bargain prices too.

TheCraicDealer · 14/06/2013 11:16

I have not tried one on, mostly because I reside in the city that Messrs Selfridge, Nichols and Lewis forgot, ie. Belfast. I figure if it doesn't fit I can send it back or eBay it. Are you tall Amber? Because I'm only 5"3.

Bloody hell, that outnet's pretty good! Ta, Sleep!

Argh...think I might go for it, ladies. I have some weddings this summer so it'll get used. We'll just ignore the fact I've bought other dresses for those Grin

I am 5' 4 OP and I had to get 3 inches off the bottom of mine as it looked too frumpy before.

Go for it, worst case scenario you send it back!

JennySense · 14/06/2013 11:36

If you will wear it and it looks good then yes - think of the wear you can get from it

ChablisLover · 14/06/2013 11:47

go for it op

if it will make you feel fabulous - and you have the cash - then why not

on a side note, also from NI and its hateful being in the city that even wont let a john lewis be built!

TheCraicDealer · 14/06/2013 13:01

Oh god, I know Chablis- it's got better in recent years but DP says even Camp Bastion has better shops.

Well, I've ordered this bad boy. Thinking it would go with my colouring best (blue eyes, blonde hair), although the pink one was v tempting. Thanks to you all!

Oh that's lush craic

If it doesn't suit send it this way lol! (similar colouring but green eyes!)

Oh to have some more decent department stores in this province. Maybe Obama can bring them with him on Monday Grin
