Holiday head wear???

I tend to get terrible sunburn on my head on holidays. Last year I ended up with an emergency black sun hat, which was hideous. Any suggestions for a sunhat or scarf or something which won't look ridiculous??

And how would I go about packing something like that? It is quite nice though, better than the black monstrosity I had last year!

My dh has a panama, he either takes it hand luggage or I pack it with underwear, socks etc to fill it out then put in in the case and pack rolled t-shirts etc round it, it travels fine and keeps its shape. Alternatively you can buy rolled up ones that come in a tube tho I don't think they're as nice.

As I said, 'authentic' Panamas can be rolled and the Tumi one is lovely..
