Any Avon recommendations?

My friend has just started doing Avon, and I'd like to support her, but don't want to buy stuff that ends up not being great.

Any recommendations for things Avon's particularly good at? I'm a bit nervous of buying any make-up, as I like to be able to try (and even then I don't trust myself - usually get a make-up counter to tell me what works).

Thanks in advance!

my friend started doing Avon too and to support her I bought some bits and bobs.

was impressed with the glimmersticks pencil, luminous highlighter, speed dry nail enamels and believe it or not, their foundation (flawless, invisible brand).

not so keen on the body cream/ perfume samples though.

Glimmersticks eyeliners are fab and last all day Smile

Weirdly, I have found their tweezers comparable to much more expensive ones. There's an offer sometimes and you can get them for about a fiver.

Avon supershock eyeliners and the pro wear nail varnish are ace.

YY to the glimmersticks eyeliners! I get through loads and buy in bulk when they're half price.
The kids hair stuff is great, and the skin-so-soft oil spray isn't marketed as it but is amazing at keeping mozzies away.

I bought some perfume called Percieve Dew last month as it was on offer for £7 and I'm pleasantly surprised. It's light and fresh though it doesn't last all that long.

I'm in the same boat. My friend started to sell it last year and I wanted to support. So I tried lots of different products but was mostly disappointed.
The only thing I truly love are the Glimmersticks pencils.
A lot of people rave about the the Magix Primer, but it makes my skin peel.
