Glued In Hair Extensons

I am 5 months pregnant and thinking of getting hair extensions fron Great Lengths. I understand that they use a bond made of thermoplastic infused with keratin. Theremoplatic is basically industrial chemicals like polyesters, polyamides, polyurethanes. To remove the bonds they use industrial strength acetone.

They tell me it is safe but I would like to be 100% sure. Does anyone with a medical background know for sure.

I don't know about the safety elemnt kitty, but when I had extensions that were bonded, they trashed my hair. I had to get it cut short when I had them taken out as the hair was breaking off all over. I do have very fine, fragile hair though, so maybe I wasn't suitable for them in the first place.

I dont think chemical hair extensions are good for pregnant ladies. When i had mine done i had lots of complications, think it was the polyamadites that gave me horrible wind

Btw this board doesn't get that much traffic. You should probably post on the Pregnancy board too
