Brown spots on face?!

So after a couple of sunny weeks I have noticed a couple of little brown patches/spots on my forehead. Anyone else?! What are they, what shall i do and will they go?

Hyperpigmentation maybe?

I've been recommended always to use high SPF to avoid them/getting more of them. And you can use some of those brightening serums/creams such as Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector to get them to fade. I have no personal experience with those products, so can't say if they work and how long you would have to use the products for - and if the spots come back as soon as you stop using the products.

I live with my spots as they are, as I already have loads of freckles and they seem to blend in fairly well (and I use foundation which conceals them a bit). During summer, I use SPF35 daily.
