FFS!!!

Mixing the two metals OK or not in your opinion? Is it an old-fashioned thing to say not to mix them?

I dont like it. But I think its a personal pref type of thing. I am trying to persuade Dh that I need a gold watch as well so that I can do gold stuff.

It doesn't matter at all. I have some rose gold bands that I wear with silver bands and it can look quite striking to have the contrast.

That said- I do need to have a 'matching' watch. Leather strap is easiest but face has to be gold or silver depending on what my overall jewellery colouring for that day is. It's so complicated.

It used to be 'bad luck' to wear gold and silver on the same hand.

I think it's fine to mix them. But again it's personal preference...

I like it.

Esp jewellery that is made with both gold and silver. I think it probably is an old fashioned idea to not mix them.

I love mixing the different metals - I think it looks fine :)

My watch doesn't match the metals of the rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings I wear - and the different stones don't necessarily match each other either. I tend to layer necklaces in different metals, such as silver, gold and platinum.
