I'm saving up for one of everything already . I've found the H&M collaborations to be some of the better ones and a Marant one is very exciting.

Sort of excited as I bet the clothes will be gorgeous, but also sort of disappointed that the brand has sunk a bit from a swish French aloof and unattainable type thing to, er, a cheapo British high st shop.

ooo! sounds brill. i hope it proves possible to buy stuff though, unlike previous bunfights. i just don't care enough to get involved in that kind of shopping.

Amazingg - make that cheapo Swedish High st Shop. There have been so many collaborations now, it seems everyone does it at some time. I think they maintain their 'aloof' reputation so long as they only do one collab, not multiples. The main problem will be all the ebay 'flippers' that will clean out the shops the second they open and then put it all on ebay at five-times the price that afternoon.

Marant not that unattainable really though. Etoile is high end high street prices. I don't think Marni have lost any of their cachet for collaborating.
