for hold-you-in-a-bit pants? I don't want magic knickers with special panels, just some simple, midi briefs that stay in place,, don't make one belly into two and don't have flowery nonsense or twee little bows on them.

I don't think I can afford Sloggi.

If you're over a size 14, there is a shop callled Yours: www.yoursclothing.co.uk/?gclid=CM7Ojd7H27cCFXIQtAodhgwA8g&S=ADBRAND

Which does cheap control undies. Or Debenhams?

MrsBertMacklin · 11/06/2013 09:29

I'm not after control pants, just some sturdy cotton midis. Like Sloggi, but a bit cheaper.

Me too... I've wondered about the John Lewis own brand ones www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-5-pack-full-briefs/p43059?colour=White. There are plenty of different styles - I have some thongs which are good but not actually tried these ones. Might be worth a browse?
