BROGUES- your opinions

Not sure whether to love or hate.

I can't get on with ballet pumps for serious city walking- have very narrow feet and slightly turned up big toes- so the end of the shoe is always too shallow for my big toes which 'bump' on the top and alarger size is too wide so they slip off.

I do wear Converse but wanted something slightly smarter- one options is a loafer/ moccasin- but as I am middle aged I think they might age me more :)

Dune has some brogues that are quite 'dainty' and would be a change from my boots when it's warmer but not warm enough for sandals.
mainly to wear with jeans and rolled up chinos.

Opinions?

I love brogues and I have big feet and I wear them with skinny jeans!

Love 'em.
They're versatile, look great with trousers and dresses.

Am finding it hard to get my head round the 'school uniform' image- and they type of shoes I used to cry when MADE to wear as a child!!!

Fugly. But I have massive fat feet.

It depends on your style, I'm a grown up indie kid. So they suit the rest of my lifestyle. (I wear Dr martens and converse the rest of the time)
If you totter about in high heels 90% of the time they'll be a shock.

No don't possess high heels- tend to be in ankle boots mainly, or converse style pumps and ballet flats when just sitting and not really walking.

Ghastly imho. I can't decide if they put fashion or functionality over aesthetics but either way they are not to my taste.

They are vile.

Been thinking of investing myself. People say you must own one haha...better get on that as don't myself :)

If only the weather would heat up my problems would be solved then back into newankle boots by Sept!
