Thanks. Yes the 'glamourous' part I was slightly worried about as the only things I had found were basic linen tunics in white/ light grey/ light blue etc from white company, which seem fine for casual beach but not enough for work or evenings.

I have trailed the Internet last night at some places suggested and hoping to go out this evening shopping after work to actually try things on ( short legs!). So I can hopefully find some trousers and maxi dresses/ skirts.

Can I wear anything on feet? Ie flip flops and high heals/ sandels etc of should they be covered? More out of Dubai I assume.

To answer your question about maxi-dresses, OP, I tend to wear a cropped cardigan (with 3/4 or elbow-length sleeves). I have a few, including a linen one, which is great in hot climates, although the cotton ones are fine, too.

I don't know but I assume that feet are fine - local men traditionally wear sandal type shoes and it isn't uncommon to see local ladies in an abaya but in sandals (flats and heels)
