Help covering purple/red scars on legs

Help.

I have to wear a shortish dress in a couple of weeks for a formal occasion, and can't use my standby of leggings. I desperately want to use nude tights.

I have awful scarring on my lower legs from itching - purple and red scars scattered around them. They look awful. I stupidly thought tights - even nude ones -would make them less visible, but no.

Is there any wonder product that will minimise the scarring, or fantastic tights that will leave me with a look of not wearing them at all? As cheap as possible too, as I'm skint...

Would Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs work? I think you can buy it in Boots etc and I can't imagine it costing a fortune. If you Google it, you can see images of people that appear to have successfully covered scars etc with it.

I know it's not much comfort, but I promise you that no one will notice them/care about them as much as you, so please try not to let it bother you.

Try the Sally Hansen first (its a tenner, but you get loads of uses out of one can), and take a picture in the mirror of how it looks - because thats how other people will be looking at your legs.

If you aren't happy with how your legs look then, try a pair of nude micronet tights on top of the sally hansen - the micronet is very good as distracting the eye from bruises ime

I have scaring on my legs from a car accident. Leggings today but also use Vichy derma blend stick and then sheer nude tights, not perfect but acceptable.

I use vichy dermablend too. I got it on prescription.
