How would you style this dress?

I ordered this dress from H&M and it fits really nicely, but I'm not sure how to style it or when I'd wear it....
I got it in cream, after I saw my dsis wearing it in the blue and loved it. I'd have got it in the blue or black if either colour suited me, so opted for cream. My dsis wore it with leggings and it looked good, but not sure if that would work with the cream?
What do you think? Or should I just send it back?!

Ah this. I wanted the tee shirt version but it sold out at my local store.

Wouldn't tights work well with it? I can see low den black or nude working fine, or those fishnet things people keep going on about. Not sure about leggings though.....how tight is the dress? I would worry the leggings might bunch it up a bit.

Black with cream is fine though in my opinion. Footwear will make a huge difference to this, too. What do you plan to wear on your feet if you go with the leggings?

I'd personally wear it with low den tights and taupe ankle boots (low Isabel Marant style suede ones) or bare legged/with nude tights and sandals.

Grey tights and high brown clogs a la Alexa- although she is too skinny to pull that look off IMO.

Clogs! Do they still circulate now? I remember getting a 5 inch heel pair and felt like a gazelle! Until i fell over.

If you go for clogs, choose a mid heel.

Tights would work well, but I have a severe lack of footwear! I looked all winter and never managed to find ankle boots that I liked, and I'm crap in heels......
It's fairly tight but quite forgiving as well so leggings without a thick waist band wouldn't show I don't think.

The top version would be much easier!!!
