Getting your facial hair threaded?

Anyone done it or has it done?

I havepale downy hair (usual stuff I suppose) on sides of my cheeks, nothing really noticable, but I have a few rogue hairs on my top lip!

Does anyone get theirr cheeks / face threaded aswell as top lip and does it make a difference?

It leaves a good result and it's much easier on the skin then waxing.

Go to an Asian salon and you can get your whole face done for about £10.

I've had my top lip down. Its pretty good, well worth it.

FriskyHenderson · 06/06/2013 21:42

Good but by feck it smarts.

I've had my lip and eyebrows done. I agree that it is much gentler on the skin. I find the lip threading quite painful and after a few goes I have now gone back to waxing because the pain with waxing at least only lasts for a few seconds. If you only have a few hairs on your top lip you will probably not have the same problem as me.

Yes, I am a hairy wench, so cannot take lip threading. I have all the rest threaded. Chin threading feels oddly soothing...

I have it done by my HD woman when she does my brows. God it hurts, but a bit less so with each go. I have loads of pale down.

I can't even imagine the pain - I am sick with it when I have my brows threaded. Arg.

Eyebrow, definitely.

Top lip, NEVER again

I get my eyebrows and top lip done regularly. I always make them do my top lip first to get the pain out of the way! Brows don't hurt me at all but by god, the lip kills!

I have had face / neck done but it makes me slightly spotty. Well, small, red, raised rash more than spots. I'd have it done a few times before a bit event to allow my skin to get used to it. Doesn't hurt me.

Hmmm... so is an asian salon a better place to start?

Might look aroundto find one. thanks!

I love getting my face threaded, I don't find it painfully and my face feels lovely after.
