whats the fuss all about and how do you do it. I am thinking of buying Marie Claire with the free Ciate set

OP posts:
lougle · 10/06/2013 19:26

I am still baffled.

Flashbacks...for real? Come on.

valiumredhead · 10/06/2013 19:36

Yes for real. It trigged something really horrible.

So glad you're ok with it, thanks for being so understandingHmm

JazzDalek · 10/06/2013 19:36

It's unpleasant but I too am surprised at the depth of feeling here Confused

Morbidly curious about dragon butter. Is it a sex thing, or just weird photoshoppy stuff like the hole phobia pictures? Someone in the know give us a hint?

Back to the caviar nails: don't like them, why would you want hundreds and thousands stuck all over your nails? Confused

valiumredhead · 10/06/2013 19:42

Its a sex thing. If you google it the definition is in the urban dictionary-no photos add far as I could see!

ParsleyTheLioness · 10/06/2013 19:42

Sex thing, Jazz.

elfycat · 10/06/2013 19:47

I clicked.

There are people out there with weird hobbies (making the pictures up) aren't there.

I should be OK. In operating theatres I've seen some weird holes (and that's before we get a scalpel out). I even found one once... klaxon people would have been proud

Definitely photo-shopped by psycho nerds.

And I'm not googling dragon butter. Nope. No way.

YoniMontana · 10/06/2013 19:52

I am more disturbed by the fact that I'm not disturbed by them. If that makes sense?
What's wrong with me?

I can see why others would be disturbed though so I'm not gloating. I am clearly dead inside :-/

Mintyy · 10/06/2013 19:59

What kind of idiot purposefully posts links to images that she knows people find haunting and disturbing. Its the kind of thing a particularly dim 13 year old would do.

I really don't understand why hq don't just delete her stupid post.

cardamomginger · 10/06/2013 19:59

Am strangely unmoved by dragon butter. That's just rather boringly unpleasant. Not sure if I am relieved or disappointed.

Oh fuckity fuck fuck fuck. Two questions:

  1. Why the fuck did I google?
  2. Why the fuck would anyone want to do that?

Oh God. And I started hanging out in S&B cos it was safe Sad. The worst that happened was a few vicious comments on a handbag thread...

Sorry - OP. Dunno how you'd do the caviare effect. I think it could be nice, in moderation, and on a single nail. But you'd have to get it perfect, as a manky nail would look pretty minging.

valiumredhead · 10/06/2013 21:47

Just to add, the weird thing is I was not affected by holes at all, now every time I see flipping holes I think of that link.

I've reported it already, can other people too, it needs to be deleted. Ffs you only have to mention troll on here and you get deleted and yet some sicko posts that in the knowledge that it will upset people and it stays. Go figureConfused

valiumredhead · 10/06/2013 21:48

And yes I know I could hide this thread but I'm taking some comfort in the fact others find it add disturbing as I do.

Littleballofhate · 10/06/2013 22:00

I must be terribly thick. I cannot make the connection between caviar nails (which I found very disturbing) and obscene holey pictures? Why were the hole pix connected to the nail pix?

Littleballofhate · 10/06/2013 22:02

Btw ValiumRedhead, I sympathise with your distress. Certain pictures cause a very bad reaction in me..

valiumredhead · 10/06/2013 22:05

Little-no idea at all either Confused

cardamomginger · 10/06/2013 23:14

reported as well

ProjectGainsborough · 10/06/2013 23:16

I just googled dragon butter. Which is fine, dude. Whatever. But the weirdos making up the holey pictures makes the hairs on the back stand up.

boogiewoogie · 10/06/2013 23:28

For those joining the thread after reading the warning in the title. Yes, some of them are photoshopped but think of sort of thing that you would see in a horror movie, multiple open wounds, bubbles in rotten skin for example. If that makes your skin crawl then please don't click on the link. I don't have a phobia of holes as such but those pictures are just creepy and unpleasant.

lougle · 10/06/2013 23:32

See, that's interesting. I think they're much more like the underside of an octopus photoshopped into body areas. Nothing more, nothing less.

Ledkr · 10/06/2013 23:35

I'm all itchy now! Shudder. How odd.

50shadesofmeh · 10/06/2013 23:39

Some of the pictures are a bit like rotting corpse skin perhaps, totally agree I'm seeing holes everywhere now even though I didn't think it had bothered me.

OhBuggerandArse · 10/06/2013 23:43

Oh dear. Had no idea all this had gone on. Am genuinely sorry if the link upset people - to be honest I'd barely looked at it myself, it was just the google image search result.

There was no intention at all to upset people on purpose - it's stuff that has been linked on here and discussed a number of times before (with the name that I gave the link), though I do see it might not have been expected in the context of this topic and that makes a difference.

So apologies again to anyone who had a bad reaction - it was a joke that clearly misfired, but was only ever intended to be a comment on that nail-effect thingy.

thornrose · 10/06/2013 23:44

Aargh, what the hell have I wandered into? That'll teach me to read the whole thread.
I thought it was about a new manicure technique.
I'm not squeamish but that link was horrendous. I'm so confused now.

Trills · 11/06/2013 08:21

I do't get what it has to do with caviar nails either - the nail stuff i little bobble - it's sticky-up, not holey-in.
