Men's trouser size - help!

DH is 6 foot tall and weighs roughly 90 kg.

Any idea what trouser size he should be?

Large? My Dh is a bit shorter but about the same weight and is a L/XL depending on brand and style. Men's clothing sizing varies in the same annoying way as women's.

36" maybe? I guess it depends where he carries his weight - does he have a beer belly or not?

Oh that's really tricky without knowing his waist size! My DH is only 67kg and 5'8" but wears a 34" because he's broad and muscular round the middle. My brother who's taller and way fatter also wears a 34", because he has narrow hips.
