Tops to go with maxi dresses

Stylist advice needed please!

AND because I loved it so much I bought it in the bright blue too.
Any ideas about what to wear with them, for those chilly moments or when I'm not so brave!
I've looked at white company cardigans but got overdosed and couldn't decide.
I'd like it to be casual so I can wear them all summer long!

A denim shirt/ blouse with rolled up sleeves & string of pearls. Denim shirt can be tied or loose. Would look stylish & classy

Obvious answer is a cropped denim jacket - that's what I usually wear with mine. A nice necklace works well too.

I wear any sort of cardis with my maxi dresses. I love them with boyfriend cardis, or shorter 'preppy' ones.

Bali shrug. Front tie. here I like the Gringo ones as they're fair trade etc.

I have bought my ones in all the colours of the rainbow. They are excellent as they don't crease, roll up really small in a bag and are warm on cool days and yet cool on hot days. I have lost quite a few over time too from them being 'borrowed' by friends...... I like the proportions of a cropped style with a maxi. Boden have some front tie cardigans that aren't too bad. If you can get the merino wool ones they are better for chilly days.

Cropped denim jackets also look great with an armful of clattering bangles or maybe that's just me
