How's this for a wedding?

Too spangly?

Too cream? It's OH's friends so not sure whether it's too flashy...

If not, can I accessorise to tone it down?

TIA

I think it is lovely!

Brandnewbrighttomorrow · 04/06/2013 22:08

Gorgeous!

Bad form to wear cream/white unless you're the bride

Chubfuddler · 04/06/2013 22:14

Oh bollocks is it. Anyway it's not plain white so it doesn't matter.

Beautiful. Want.

Biltongmuncher · 04/06/2013 22:17

Love it. Minimal accessories i would say as dress is busy enough. Just some nice killer heels!

StatisticallyChallenged · 04/06/2013 23:27

I think it's lovely and not bridal at all - I'd maybe pick out the darker colour for accessories rather than using pale ones though.

I tried that on for a wedding!

It's lovely - just didn't suit me. But it is very heavy to wear and check the one they send you for pulling - the beads are sewn onto thread which is then sewn on to the fabric. Mine had a number of pulls in it...

And it is bad form to wear cream or white unless the bride but this is much more than that in the flesh - due to the gold and coral beading.

And it comes up short - not a problem for me as legs are long and best feature but just a heads up.

Nice. Definitely go for coral accessories, not that you'll need much - shoes, bag.

ifancyashandy · 04/06/2013 23:42

I tried it with gold shoes. The dress is quite a statement that I wanted them to be as neutral as possible but still pick up in the detail. I also tried it with coral but they seemed to overpower it somehow.

Great, thank you all! Not seen it in RL yet so may well not suit me, but I do love it. Might try it with (pale) nude shoes, and v subtle jewellery, see if it works.
