Hi, I was wondering if any of you have had any personal experiences of permanent makeup? I'm seriously considering it in a hope to recapture my lost youthBlush

I'm thinking either eye liner or lips, as fortunately enough my eyebrows are relatively good at present.

Any experiences would be appreciated Thanks

My mum has her lips done just 1 tone darker than her natrual tone...it looks fab & you can tell when you look closely. She loves it! She said it was worth the money :)

I wouldn't want the risk of anything permenant on my face in case something went wrong and although rare with a good person mistakes are made.

Invest in some good make up which can be changed in seconds if you don't like it.

It's not all permanent! You can get it to last 5 years with a gradual fade :)

valiumredhead · 06/06/2013 15:26

5 years is too long for something that you might not be too happy with though imo.

eyeliner did not work on me, i wasted £350 , it didn't 'take' (thin skin, even though i was young) and there were no effects. Not even a hint.Even though she did it twice. No eyeline
effect. Just redness. I got no refund it wasnt their fault. So, no if you are thinskinned and watery eyed. Otherwise..go for it.

I had my eyebrows done at Urban Retreat at Harrods. Painful, but very good. They were very precise - measured everything out to make them perfect.

mumtolilh · 06/06/2013 19:39

I want it done now!!! lol ;)
Might start having a look just hope it does work on me!!!
I would only get a minimal look...less is more :)
