I have six! I love them! But I am nearly fifty and they are very Joan Collins! I only wear them on holiday. They are so lightweight, great for packing.

I don't think I would have worn one when I was a young woman but they are super flattering at my age.

ChewingOnLifesGristle · 04/06/2013 20:30

I think they're a good idea in theory, but I didn't like the one my mum gave me. Maybe because it was too big on me, but as I recall the main thing I didn't like was the fabric which was itchy nylony stuff. Maybe if it was a drapey soft jersey fabric it'd work..

fairlytiredtonight · 04/06/2013 20:55

I second the don't do it! The fabric is truly awful and they look awful on. Mine got binned.

ggirl · 04/06/2013 22:09

I am 50 and I wouldn't wear them

SundaySimmons · 04/06/2013 23:46

Maybe it's my colouring or style but they suit me!

This is one that I have and it looks lovely on, so flattering, the material is like a sarong, doesn't make you hot and when I'm on holiday I always get asked where I bought them from
