Ok so last year I thought 'this is it' and threw away the fugly fitflops I'd been living in for the past 2 years - before that I had different ones for a couple of years. I hate the look of them and mumsiness but they're oh so comfortable.

But now I've found myself considering getting some more Shock please help me find some comfy but trendy sandals - I walk around a lot have fat wide feet and cankles Smile
Ordinary flip flops are not great for lots of walking I find, need a little bit of a heel but not too much

Gobblers I like the look of those rocket ones. I don't suppose you know how large they come up? I'm a Clarks 4.5 and never know whether to go up or down a size when shopping online.

thanks everyone Smile

I especially like the reef and rocketdogs

I got the Clarks Rona Sparkle last year and the rubbed my ankle, so couldn't wear them for walking far. Hope you have better luck cos I loved how they look.

Who cares? They are comfy and fit well, not like you are wearing them for a night out. Get another pairSmile

I got some of these last week & its like wearing comfy slippers.

Only a tenner too Smile

another plantar fasciitis sufferer here and fit flops are all I can wear in summer. I have to wear an orthotic insole usually and if I don't I get excruciating knee pain, but not with the fit flops. Some of their new designs are quite lovely. Not mumsy at all imo.

In fact I'm going to buy a pair of their boots for the winter this year, so impressed am I with how they support my buggered up instep.

I bought some new Fitflops last week. My lower back has been so painful and they really helped.

clairedunphy I think I would go up a size, I am a seven and my sevens fit me very snugly, I wouldn't want them any smaller, but think that half a size bigger would be fine. They are amazingly comfy :)

clairedunphy · 04/06/2013 22:13

Thanks Gobblers, that's great. Love your user name btw, it's making me chuckle!

Gabor sandals are worth a try - i think they're actually a frumpy make but bizarrely the sandals work - and are comfy!

Startail · 04/06/2013 22:27

Hevenly feet wedges are amazingly comfortable and cheap being leather lined synthetic.

I've been walking miles in my fitflops lately - they are SO comfy.

Before fit flops I had a few pairs of Merrell flip flops.

I have 'smart' impractical flip-flops for evening wear, but in the day I want them to be super-comfy and on a par with trainers.
