Make up lessons-are they any good?

I'm 38 & have always struggled putting make up on. I only ever wear 1 eyeshadow at a time & can never manage to get my eyeliner even on both sides. I'm just cack handed. Am thinking of asking for make up lessons for my birthday but wonder if my general ineptitude would render them worthless.

Practice is what makes perfect but a lesson or two to get you confident about using basic techniques really well (and by that a lesson which actually teaches you to so it yourself rather than someone demonstrating) is a good idea.

I'm exactly the same as you. I didn't know anywhere did them, but I would be tempted too.

Or get the money, book a session at a Bobbi Brown counter (does Body Shop still do these sessions?) or similar and buy the products they recommend?
