Hey everyone
So I've been hearing some rave reviews about this, but just wanted to hear your opinions on the Brazilian blow dry treatment.
When I first heard about it, I thought it sounded too good to be true and then I read that the formaldehyde levels were way too high and could potentially lead to cancer. After reading this, I forgot about it and just carried on with my normal routine.
I have already started a thread about finding a product that will make my hair last longer as it's quite greasy. The main problem is that it's very long, naturally curly and quite damaged overall and it takes me an age to dry and straighten it. I just don't have the time. Then a couple of people on that thread suggested I tried this Brazilian blow dry and I'm starting to wonder if maybe that's the answer. Apparently, the formaldehyde levels are now safe, which was my only concern before.
One worry I still have however, is that it will make my hair flat. I have quite a round face and I just don't suit poker straight, flat hair. Tbh, I don't even want poker straight hair anyway. I'd be happy to keep a natural wave if it looked healthy and tame. If I could leave it to dry naturally and it looked healthy and a bit wavy, I'd be over the moon!
I'm a little confused though. Some reviews say that it makes your hair straight and others say that it just makes your hair look smooth and conditioned. Which one's correct? Or is it that there are two completely different products which I'm getting confused about?
Really appreciate anyone's advice, opinions or better still, personal experiences.
Thanks
